Established in 2016, Kognitiv Spark is a global AR/VR technology startup headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Their marquee solution is a secure, reliable, and network-agnostic mixed reality performance support application, RemoteSpark, which enhances operational tempo and force resilience in the face of unplanned, complex, and unpredictable conditions. 

Process

COVID-19 had accelerated the need for remote solutions and digital transformation for many sectors, including cybersecurity, oil and gas, industrial engineering, and aerospace and defense. The company works closely with global partners to guide the development of mixed reality solutions for industrial applications. They start with the user, and their goal is to empower the global workforce to achieve more, operate with confidence, and solve any problem quickly, safely, and accurately. Through interviews with executives, staff, and customers, we revealed that many of these diverse companies shared some of the same challenges: remote repairs, maintenance, and knowledge transfer.  

Project

To connect RemoteSpark (and AR/VR solutions like it) with the keenly felt pain points that it can help solve, we decided on a two-step approach. The first was a well-articulated mission statement and description of value. In the form of a core lead-generating white paper, with key visuals and messaging that could be distributed across multiple marketing channels over time.  The second step was to tell the story for a specific industry in a third-party publication to test interest, get feedback, and start building the narrative forward.
