Brand Identity and Launch

A new new company, a new consolidated brand, and new connections with communities, customers, and employees.

Mosaic Forest Management is a leader in sustainable timberlands management, created through the affiliation of Island Timberlands and TimberWest (in 2018), and has operated on the coast of British Columbia, Canada, for more than 100 years.

Mosaic employs several thousand people, directly and indirectly, who live, work and play in local Vancouver Island and Coastal BC communities. The new company will share resources, and align efforts to provide enhanced forest stewardship: more innovative, responsive, and efficient.

This new organization will need to inspire new excitement while building on the successes of the two participating organizations. With many competitors, the brand needs to be clear and compelling. With a diverse audience, the brand needs to show this new organization to be an accessible partner, willing to work for the greater good as well as sound business principles.
