The Mission Insight Series: Global Employee Engagement Campaign
We were asked to create an educational journey with the ultimate aim of engaging employees emotionally with the Essilor Group’s mission to ‘improve lives by improving sight.' However, to activate each person's sense of purpose and keep them engaged with the mission over the long term, we feel there needs to be a more holistic, future-proof approach and solution.
To achieve this, we recommend using the journey as leverage to create a complementary internal visual brand for a sustainable engagement programme, to inspire employees and to bring the mission to life beyond a one-off educational journey. Therefore, in addition to addressing the brief, we have given some thought to how this can be created.
We believe that employee (and colleague) engagement is a wonderful opportunity. But when you are a global corporation with 64,000 employees around the world, from a wide variety of disciplines, getting everyone to fully understand and engage with company's mission isn’t going to be easy.
There are inherent challenges: Global diversity. Global scale. Employee motivation.
The solution?
Create a simple, human, and interactive educational experience we’ll engage individuals, teach them something, and make it fun.
Each content module was designed to only take 10 minutes, allowing for an enjoyable mobile or desktop experience. Modules were customized by content and language for different national offices. The Essilor Mission Insight Series is being adapted into English, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Simplified Chinese, Thai, and Spanish.
